Hello everyone,

I decided to become the new organizer for this group partly because, I joined this group since I am going through a divorce and couldn't find other support groups out there, and I also noticed that many new members had signed up, so there must be some interest in keeping this group going.

Please email me if you are interested in being an active member of this group. This doesn't mean you are committing to attending every meeting, but you will be active in at least part of the group activities.

Since I am new to the organizing part, bear with me - I will learn as I go!

Hi Lee Ann,

congratulations on taking on the challenge. What kind of ideas did you have for the group? One first step might be putting together a survey of members to get an idea on what people need -- divorce counseling, post-divorce financial planning, child rearing as a single parent, etc. Once you get a feel for what the group is looking to get out of the group, you can put together some programs.
